The Internet Book Database Blog

The Bookshelf now has more than 100 registered users and the most number of books added to a bookshelf is over 1500 by South Library. Lots of new authors have also been added to the database, many of those thanks to South Library.

Book images and descriptions are now available from Author, Series, Book and some search pages. Book images are now part of your Bookshelf lists. Now when you search your Bookshelf, your Amazon Lists are included in the search.

More features are coming soon including ways to increase your affiliate income from your bookshelves.

The Parchayi.net Book Database is growing very fast and it just crossed 50,000 titles! That too, in less than 6 months. In the Books category of this blog, I will keep you posted on the status of the database, improvements, additional features etc. for the Book Database.

Currently in the Bookshelf Management Section, you can:

• Add books to one of three lists: Books you Own, Your Favorites and Books you Want
• Any books you rate or review are automatically added to your Rated or Reviewed lists respectively
• Mark Books as Read/Unread in any list
• Share all of the above lists with your friends and the world
• Add Books not listed on Parchayi.net using the Parchayi.net Amazon Search
• Add authors to your Favorite Authors list
• View the bookshelves of other people with common books on their lists
• Also, you can earn affiliate income from all your reviews if you have an Amazon Associates account!
